In this exercise, my team applied platform design to a consequence of worldwide urbanization: the increase in slums. A platform is a suite of interrelated products and services that collect user data over time. In turn, this user data is analyzed and sold as a secondary product. Think Google, iTunes, or Target.

Our Juncture opportunity engine proposes to efficiently matches the ideas of slum entrepreneurs to financial and social means. Juncture extends ideas, bootstraps resources, and creates circumstances for opportunities to flourish, with the hope that individual entrepreneurs eventually form small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
